Panda Batch File Renamer features three modes of renaming files, one for images, one for songs and one for any kind of file.

After selecting the desired mode, the user will be taken to the program's main screen, where he can add the desired files to be renamed. After that, one can simply select the renaming method. No matter what method is selected for renaming files, the new name will be displayed next to the old one, allowing the user to see if the method he chose is the right one. These methods include inserting, replacing or removing certain pieces of text from the file's name.

In case the user wants to revert to the old name, he can use the undo function which will quickly restore the original file's name. When selecting the music renaming mode, the program will automatically read the ID3 tag of any MP3 file and will allow changing the name according to the tag information.
